Colm Walsh
Managing Director
A founding director of Walsh Western Ltd, Mr Walsh has spent over 20 years in the freight forwarding business in Ireland and Germany. A former President and current Honorary Fellow of the Irish International Freight Association, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of that association in 2005.
Mr Walsh is a member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport and served as a committee member of that association for three years, having been a founder member of the Irish Institute of Logistics before its merger with the Chartered Institute of Transport.
He compiled and wrote the complete course material for the FIATA Diploma in Freight Forwarding course offered by the Irish International Freight Association since 1996 through FAS in Baldoyle. From November 2008 this internationally recognized and respected qualification is being offered by IIFA in a blended learning course.

Gisela Walsh
Accounts and Print Director
Gisela has over 20 years experience of producing the Irish Supply Chain Management Services Directory (aka The Who’s Who in the Freight Industry). She deals with all the accounting work done in the year as well as organising and laying out of the print edition of the freight directory, aka The Who’s Who in the Freight Industry.
Lara Walsh
Online Business Developer
Lara joins Malahide Promotions direct after working with Yahoo! in their Search Marketing department. A graduate of DCU with a degree in Multimedia, Lara has a passion for all things Internet and in 2008 Lara completed a degree in the National College of Ireland, culminating in a thesis on Online Marketing in Ireland. She is the most recent Walsh to join the family business.
